Hide and seek

I can't remember many chances to go and see a breeding pair of Black-necked Grebes with young over the years, so when the RSPB at Ryemeads let all birders and the general  public know that everyone from a safe distance can view these stunning birds from the hide without disturbing them, it was game on. which worked out perfectly for myself and Russ after photographing the Red Kites on Friday. We both had previously been the week before but this time we had much better views. Not always close to the hide but worth waiting for when they did!
