Four at the top

Checked the top paddock this evening after work with Paul to find that there were still 4 Whinchat on the fence line. After dropping off Paul I went back on the patch, but this time with my camera. It's never easy to get close to a Whinchat but I tried my best by crawling along the grass and staying low. Just watching them catch flies and hearing them call is what patch birding is all about and if I get good or bad pictures, who cares Whinchats are still cracking birds to watch.
