Lesser Spotted Woodpecker

Enjoyed good views of a female LSW this morning and just a couple of miles away from my home made even better. Although she spent her time high in the canopy and was seen and heard drummimg away it's a real treat to see this  Amber listed species on our door step. Not great images below however it's a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker!

Nuthatch and Treecreeper were seen along with GSW and GW and probably best of all was to hear Redwings singing again - it just reminded me of my time spent in Iceland a few years ago with JL.
